AI Video Translator - AI Dubbing

Written by Michael

First, find AI Video Translator in the Tools section, and choose AI Dubbing. It identifies audio and translates it into a lifelike voice in the target language.

You can also access AI Dubbing from the Subtitles panel on the left side of the editor.

First, select the Original Language of your video/audio. Next, choose the Target Language you want to translate the audio into. FlexClip supports multiple languages, allowing you to create localized versions of your content for different audiences.

In the Current Voice section, you can decide how the translated audio will be generated. Select AI Voice to use one of the built in AI voices, or switch to Voice Cloning if you want the translated speech to preserve the original speaker's voice. When using AI Voice, you can choose a voice from the available library, preview it, and adjust voice settings if needed.

The Choose Content option lets you decide what will be translated. For example, selecting All (Scene + Audio) translates both the spoken audio and the on screen text, ensuring your entire video is localized consistently.

If you want subtitles to appear in the translated video, turn on the Show Subtitles option. This will automatically generate subtitles in the target language during the dubbing process.

Once you have finished configuring all the settings, click Translate to start the AI dubbing process.

The translated audio will be added directly below the original audio track or video scene. The corresponding subtitles will also be added to the scene simultaneously (if you choose Show Subtitles).

To prevent audio in different languages from playing at the same time, the original audio track or video clip will be automatically muted.
