Yes. Upload a video clip and then add it to the timeline as a background or layer.

Right-click the video on the timeline, and click the Detach Audio button. Then the audio will be detached from the video clip.

Once it's finished, the audio will be automatically saved to Media, and you'll get a copy and can save it to your desktop.

The audio will be automatically added to the timeline; you can edit it like music.
