AI Avatar

Written by Michael

AI Avatar is a powerful feature that allows you to create personalized avatar videos or animated images. Simply describe your unique style, personality, emotions, and what you want to say in a script, and the AI will generate a vivid talking avatar based on your input.

In the Avatar List section, you will find a wide variety of pre-designed AI avatars in different styles. You can hover over each avatar to preview how it speaks. If you like one, simply click to use it, and you can also click the star icon in the top right corner to add it to your favorites.

In the Create Avatar section, you can create your own custom avatar by choosing either Video to Avatar or Image to Avatar. For both options, you need to upload a single-person image or video with a clearly visible face.

Taking Video to Avatar as an example:
After uploading a video that meets the requirements (10 seconds to 1 minute), you can choose the audio source. There are three options available:

  • From Video

  • Voice Library

  • Upload Audio (minimum 10 seconds, maximum 100 MB)

Once everything is set up, simply click “Generate” to create your avatar.

After the avatar is successfully generated, you can find it under the My Avatars category in the Avatar List section. Simply hover over it and click “Use” to apply it.

In the left panel, you can either enter your script directly (up to 10,000 characters) or upload an audio file (3 seconds to 20 minutes). In the right panel, you can further select the voice and choose whether to include subtitles.

Once everything is set, click “Generate”.

After going through the three steps—text-to-speech, lip-syncing, and video synthesizing—your video will be generated.

You can click “Download” to save it locally, or click “Add to Editor” to further edit and use it in your project.

If you access AI Avatar from the editor, in addition to the features mentioned above, preset avatars also support background customization.

You can choose from three types of backgrounds:

  • Original background

  • Custom background with any color

  • Transparent background

Additionally, after the generation is completed, mask settings are also supported, and the avatar can be directly added to the timeline.
