Why Are AI-Generated Subtitles Incomplete or Failing?

Written by Michael

If subtitles are incomplete, stuck, or fail to generate, it is usually due to the following reasons:

● There are background music tracks on the timeline
Background music can interfere with speech recognition.

Solution:
If the background music tracks are added separately, please delete them from the timeline (muting is not sufficient).

● Background music is embedded in the original video/audio
If the source file contains built-in background music, it can also affect subtitle generation.

Solution:
Please separate the vocal and background music first, then remove the background music track from the timeline. Make sure only vocal tracks remain on the timeline before generating subtitles.

● The video/audio is too long
Long durations may cause incomplete results or processing issues.

Solution:
Please split the video/audio into smaller segments. It is recommended to keep each segment under 30 minutes, and ensure that only one segment is present on the timeline during each subtitle generation.
