AI Text-based Editing

Want to edit video by editing text? FlexClip‘s AI text-based editing tool can transcribe your video into editable text and you can edit it just like a document.

Upload Video or Audio

You can upload your video or audio. The maximum supported duration is 40 minutes.

Choose Original Language

Click the arrow to see more language options.

Transcribe

Click Transcribe to get the text of the video.

Editing

1) Delete & Restore

Select the unwanted sentence/word and click the Delete icon at the top. Then, the text will be displayed as deleted and the corresponding video footage will also be deleted.

You can also enter a keyword in the search bar above, and all related words will be highlighted, making it easier for you to locate and delete them.

There is a Restore button above the deleted sentence/word. After clicking it, the text and the corresponding video footage will be restored immediately.

You can also find the Undo button above the timeline on the right panel.

2) Hide deleted text

If you feel that the deleted text affect your viewing experience, you can click the Eye icon in the upper right corner to hide them.

3) AI edit

Click the scissors icon and you can see 2 options for the AI Edit.

Highlights: Extract highlights with AI

Remove Filler Words: Delete 'uh', 'um', etc

4) Download Text

You can click the third icon to download the edited text content. The downloaded file is in txt format, please note that it is not a subtitle file.

Download & Edit Video

After all editing is completed, click the Download button in the upper right corner to save the video to your computer.

If you want to continue editing with this video, click the Edit button in the upper right corner. There are two modes to choose from.

Splitted Clips: You will be redirected to the editing page and your video will be added as separate clips. There will be several scenes on the timeline.

Merged Video: You will be redirected to the editing page and your clips will be added as one video scene. The different clips need to be merged into one video first, so the processing time will be longer.
