About Cloud StorageNow, the Cloud Storage feature is available to all premium accounts. You can upload your video, music, and pictures files to FlexClip and save them online in case of data loss. And you don't have to relink files once you change the device. You can find the entrance on your Home page.

Add a picture to the storyboardIf you want to import a picture to a storyboard, there are several ways. 1).Click the Overlays button and select a logo sample, then click the Replace button and select a picture from Media or your computer. 2).In the Media part, click to add a picture to the storyboard or just drag it there directly. 3).In the Media part, click the Picture in Picture button and add your picture as a layer to the storyboard.

Add an animation effect to a photoTo make your photo more attractive and dynamic, you can apply an animation effect to it. Click the Animation icon on the top editing bar: Then select a suitable effect and click the Apply button or tick "Apply to All Storyboards" :

Add BackgroundClick the “+” button, and you can add a blank storyboard to your video project, which can be a color background. Click the BKground button and you can select a favorite background template video to decorate your video.

Add background-colorAdd a background storyboard, and then you can change its color freely.

Add brandingClick the Branding button on the left side of the page, and you can choose to add text branding or image branding.

Add dynamic textClick the Text button, and you will see the Dynamic text samples. Select a suitable sample and click to add it to the canvas. Click the See All button and you’ll see more samples.

Add effectClick the Adjust button and you can choose from various factors to adjust the color of your video.

Add elementsClick the Elements button on the sidebar and you can select to add favorite elements to the canvas. There are many categories. Click the See all button and you can see more elements. Besides, you can find Mask & Frame here, which can shape your images and videos as their shapes.

Add filterClick the Filter button on the top of the canvas, and you’ll see various filter effects on the left side. Select a suitable filter and make your video more distinctive.

Add intro/outroClick the Template button, enter a keyword of "intro" or "outro", and you will see various intro/outro samples. You can select a suitable sample and click to add it to the storyboards.

Add local image/video files to my videoClick the Media button and click the Local Files button, and then you can upload video and image files from your computer and add them to the media library.

Add LogoThere are 3 ways for you to add a logo to your video. First, click the Overlay button, and you will find many Logo overlays. Select a suitable sample and click to add it to the canvas. Then back to the media part, drag the image you like to the logo frame. Second, click the Replace button and select an image to replace the original logo. Third, click to add a PiP to the storyboard.

Add media files to the storyboardAdding media files to the storyboard is quite easy. There are three ways for you. First, click the + icon on the lower right corner of the file and you can add it to the storyboard directly. Second, drag and drop the file to the storyboard directly. Third, click the Picture in Picture button to add it as a layer to the storyboard.

Add music files from the stock mediaOn the editing page, click the Music button on the sidebar, and you can type a keyword to search for relevant music clips. You can click the Play button to preview it or click the + button to add it directly.

Add OverlayTo make your video to the next level, please feel free to select and add a suitable overlay or logo to your video. Click the Overlays button on the sidebar, and you can find various premade overlay and logo samples. You can change the color and type of needed texts at will.

Add picture PiPThere are two ways for you to add a picture PiP to the storyboard. First, in the Media or Photo part, click the Picture in Picture button on the lower-left corner of the image and you can add it as a layer to the storyboard. Second, drag and drop the image to the center of the storyboard directly. A storyboard can add unlimited pictures to create PiPs.

Add storyboardClick the + button beside the storyboard and you can easily add a new storyboard.

Add the photo durationClick the time button on the right bottom of the canvas, and you can adjust the duration of the photo storyboard.

Add video PiPThere are two ways for you to add a video PiP to the storyboard (the same as adding image pip). First, in the Media or Video part, click the Picture in Picture button on the lower-left corner of the video and you can add it as a layer to the storyboard. Second, drag and drop the video to the center of the storyboard directly. Unlike the picture PiP, every storyboard can add only one video to create the PiP.

Add video/image files from the stock mediaOn the editing page, you can just click the Photo or Video button to search for stock media and find suitable resources to decorate your video project.

Adjust SpeedClick the “Speed” button and you can adjust the speed of your video from 0.5x to 3x.

AlignFlexClip adds several auxiliary lines to help you align elements and texts. Besides, you can press the direction keys for micro adjustment.

Can I add multiple music files to one video project?Currently, you can add only one music file to one video project with the Storyboard Mode. However, you can do it with the Timeline Mode (Beta version). On your Home page (after logging in), click the Start From Scratch button and choose Timeline mode.

Can I get my deleted video project back?Sorry that the deleted video project can not be retrieved anymore. Please think twice before deciding to delete it.

Can I set different volumes of the BGM on different storyboards?The volume of the background music will apply to all of the storyboards.

Can't download 720p after payingFlexClip provides 4 plans for you: free plan, basic plan, plus plan, and business plan. Every plan has limits on the resources or features of editing videos. If you paid for the basic plan, and the elements in your project have exceeded the limits of your current plan, then it will ask you to upgrade your plan to download the project. You can also choose to download the video with a FlexClip intro.

Can’t download video with the current paid planFlexClip provides four plans for you: free, basic, plus, and business. Every plan has its limits. You can check the details at https://www.flexclip.com/pricing.html If the elements in your video project have exceeded the limits of your current plan, it will ask you to upgrade and download. Besides, it will show you the reason to upgrade on the downloading page.

Change ratioClick the More button, and you can select a suitable ratio for different platforms, including 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 21:9, and 4:5. Every option will show you the platforms it is suitable for.

Change the text size in the overlayYou can click the text box and then change its size by clicking the Size button on the top of the canvas.

Check files in Cloud SpaceOn the Home page, click the Cloud Space button on the left side and you can check files you saved online.

Cloud storage limitsOnly premium accounts have access to cloud storage. Your synced files will be kept in the Cloud Space for 3 months after the end of the subscription. Please make sure to back up your files or resubscribe to keep storing files online. A single file can not be more than 1G. Different plans have different storage limits: Basic plan: 10GB Plus plan: 30GB Business plan: 100GB

Copy & PasteCurrently, you can copy & paste the text, logo, and widget (elements) to meet your needs. Just right-click, click the "copy" button, or press Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to meet your needs.

Crop picture in pictureClick the Crop button, and then you can change the shape of your image/video layer to square or circle.

Custom size of GIFTo customize the size of GIF, you have several choices. Resolution (width x height): Auto x 480 Auto x 240 Auto x 140 800 x Auto 500 x Auto 320 x Auto FPS: 15fps, 10fps, 5fps

Delete saved video projectsOn the Home page, you can click the dot button on the lower-right corner of the project and choose to delete it. If you want to delete multiple projects at one time, please click the All Project button or My Projects first. Then click the Delete button, tick projects that you want to delete. Finally, click the Delete button on the bottom of the page to confirm.

Delete storyboardTo delete a storyboard, please move the cursor to the storyboard, and click the “x” button.

Delete the voiceoverYou can click the voiceover icon and then click the dustbin icon to delete it.

Duplicate the storyboardMove the cursor to the storyboard, and click the Duplicate button.

Edit dynamic textAdd a dynamic text sample from the left side, then you can double-click the text box and type the words you need. There is a toolbar on the top of the canvas for you to edit your text, such as fonts, colors, bold, etc.

Edit elementsAfter adding a suitable element to the storyboard, you can change its color, position, opacity, etc. For elements without a lightning icon, you can add motions to them:

Edit image brandingClick the Branding button on the sidebar, click the Image button, and then you can upload an image to make a branding for your video to announce your copyright. You can change the size, opacity, and position of the image.

Edit intro/outroAdd a favorite intro or outro to the storyboard, and then, you can edit it to meet your needs, such as adjusting the transform, filter, speed, etc.

Edit logoClick the logo image you added, and you will find many options on the top of the canvas, such as Filter, Adjust, Flip, Crop, Opacity, Motion, Replace, etc. Some micro-adjustment will make your logo fit your video properly.

Edit musicClick the Play music button to preview the music. Drag the Volume slider or type a number to make the music louder or quieter. To play the music repeatedly, turn on the Loop Playback option. Click the scissor icon to trim, and adjust the music duration by dragging sliders on each end of the music track to fit your video length. Move the slider of the Fade In & Fade Out option to make your music match the video better.

Edit or delete the transition effectsAfter adding a transition effect, you can adjust the duration as well as the category/color of the Overlays transition.

Edit overlayAdd a favorite overlay sample to your storyboard, then you can type words, change colors, adjust the time, etc.

Edit Overlays transitionIf you added an Overlays transition effect, you can click the Edit Transition button to change its color and duration.

Edit picture in pictureClick the clock icon on the top right corner, and it will bring you to the simple timeline mode. Here, you can manage to adjust the appearing time and scene of the video/image PiP.

Edit picture PiPAfter adding a picture layer to the storyboard, you edit it with many features, including Filter, Adjust, Flip, Crop, Opacity, Motion, Remove Background, etc. Some micro-adjustments will make your video more perfect and unique.

Edit text brandingClick the Branding button on the sidebar, and you can find a button to add text branding to your video. Type suitable words in the text box as your branding. You can change the color, font, position, size, opacity, etc.

Edit video PiPAfter adding a video layer to the storyboard, you can find features on the top of the canvas, including Volume, Filter, Adjust, Flip, Crop, Opacity, Motion, etc. You can use them to adjust your video layer to perfectly fit the storyboard.

ElementsThere are millions of new elements ready to decorate your video. You can type a keyword in the search box and find elements you want.

Elements with a lightning iconThe elements with a lightning icon don’t have the option to set motion. They are animated elements. You can change the color, opacity, position, etc.

Export GIFClick the Export button on the editing page, and you can choose to download your project as a GIF.

Export video with stereo musicNow you are able to download your video with stereo music as long as you upload a stereo music file.

Fade in & fade out of musicTo make your music match the video better, you can choose to fade in or fade out the music. In the Music part, you can find the Fade In and Fade Out button. Dragging the slider can adjust the time.

Fail to download the videoSometimes, maybe you cannot download your video successfully for some reason. In this case, please clear the browser cache or use an incognito window to try again. If you didn't save your local files to the Could Space, you need to relink your local files. If it still doesn’t work, please stay on the error page, right-click, click the “Inspect” button in the pop-up window, and click the “Console” button on the right side of the page.

Favorite TemplatesHover your cursor to the template’s thumbnail, click the heart-shaped icon on the top right corner, and then you can mark it as your Favorites. You can find your favorite templates on your home page.

FlipThe Flip feature is available to the PiPs and elements that are added to the storyboard. You can click the element in the canvas and choose to flip the element horizontally or vertically.

Font sizeEvery font file should be within 100M.

Frame & MaskChoose one mask/frame and add it to the canvas, drag and drop a picture or video to the mask/frame, and then it will turn into the same shape.

Full-ScreenYou can find the Full-screen button next to the Redo button on the top left corner. Click this button and you can enlarge the editing page to better view the video. To return to the original page, you can press the “Esc” key, or click the button again.

GIF sizeYou can choose to download your GIF with 480p or 240p. The first option focuses on the quality of the GIF, and the second option focuses on size. You can choose the Custom option to customize the resolution and FPS to meet your needs.

How can I add local music files to my video?Click the Music button on the sidebar, and click the Your Music button. Then you can click the Browser Your Music and upload your music file from your computer.

How can I add text?Click the Text button on the sidebar, and you will see a lot of pre-built text themes: Simple Text, Dynamic Text, Modern Titles, Social Media, Lower Thirds, etc. Select and add the one that fits your needs.

How can I add transition effects?Click the Transitions icon between two segments, and then you can choose from various transition effects to level up your video, such as Cross Dissolve, Fade, Zoom, Presentation, Stylize, etc.

How can I edit a text?Double click on the text box to be able to enter your own words. Drag the corner of the text to change its size quickly and you can move it to any place in your video. You can also change its color, style, motion, etc. To further customize your text, click on any text box and open the text editing panel on the top of the storyboard window, where you can change the text font, color, format, size, alignment, position, duration, or remove it quickly.

How can I edit/trim the music?Click the Play music button to preview the music. Drag the Volume slider or type a number to make the music louder or quieter. How can I export my video after finishing it?After finishing your video, you can click to save your video online or export it directly. Click the Export button, and you can choose to download a video or GIF. If you want to download a video, you can choose quality from 480p, 720p, and 1080p. Staying on the export page can download the video faster. If you choose to download a GIF, you can click the GIF button and choose/customize a suitable size to download.

How can I preview my video?When you are done creating your video, you can click the "Preview" button on the top right corner of the page to preview it in real-time. If you want to make additional changes, you can close the preview window and go back to fine-tune it. Besides, you can also click the Play button to preview your work when you are editing.

How can I split a video?Click the Split button, and you can split the video into two clips. Drag the small scissor to a suitable position and click the Split Video button.

How can I start a video project?First, on the homepage, you can select to start from a template or start from scratch. Second, on the Template page, you can select a favorite template and click to customize it to meet your needs. You can also choose to start from scratch if you don't find a favorite template. Third, if you have logged in with your account, you can click the Start From Scratch button to start a new video project.

How can I trim a video?Click the Trim button and the video trimmer is opened where you can trim your video by adjusting the yellow trimming sliders on the video track. The video track shows a thumbnail of your video and allows you to have an overall preview. Drag either one or both sliders on each end of the video track to decide your video’s length. Then drag and move the icon on the top of the video track to select the start and end point of your video.

How to record a webcam?Step 1, click the Recording button. Step 2, click the Record Webcam button, and then you can use the camera of your computer to record yourself.

How to record the screen?Step 1, click the Recording button. Step 2, click the Record Screen button. Step 3, select a screen that you want to share. Step 4, click the Stop sharing button after finishing it. Step 5, Re-record or add the record to Media Library.

How to redeem the coupon code?Step 1: Copy the coupon code. Step 2: Choose a plan and enter the Checkout page. Step 3: Press the "Have a Coupon" button and redeem the code. Step 4: The discount will be applied automatically and just click the "Pay Now" button to claim this sale.

How to relink files?You can click the Relink button on the storyboard to get the files back one by one. You can also click the Please relink the missing file button in the Media part and get them all back in one time.

How to save local files onlineIf you have a premium account, you have the right to save files online. As a premium account, once you upload a file to the Media, the file will be synced online automatically.

LayerIf you have added many elements/pictures to the storyboard, you may need to adjust the layers to show them in a better way. Click the Layer button on the top right corner, and you can adjust the layers to meet your needs.

Limits of uploading fontsEvery time you can upload no more than 10 font files, you can upload 100 fonts in total.

Manage saved files in Cloud SpaceAccording to the plan you subscribed to, you can save 10GB(basic plan), 30GB(plus plan), or 100GB(business plan) files to your cloud space. On the cloud space page, you can preview files, check the details of the files, and delete files. You can preview the video/image by clicking it. Click the small icon on the top right corner of the file, and you can check the details of this file.

Manage the text timeFirst, click the Adjust Time button on the top right corner of the canvas; Second, on the simple timeline mode, drag the text track to adjust the appearing scene and time of the text.

Mute on the storyboardYou can Mute the volume on every storyboard, which differs from the background music and will not influence the volume of the background music.

My video project is not loadingIf your video project or one of the storyboards is not loading, please refresh the page, clear the cache, or use the incognito window to try again. If it still doesn’t work, please right-click the page, click the “inspect” button, click the “console” button on the right side of the page, take a screenshot of the full page and send it to us at [email protected] We’ll check it out and help you solve this issue as soon as possible.

OpacityClick the Opacity button at the top of the canvas, and then you can move the slider to adjust the opacity of the element.

Preview video from a specific storyboardTo preview your video from a specific storyboard, you can move the cursor to the storyboard and click the play button.

Record my voiceover for the videoPress and hold the Record button at the bottom of the storyboard window to begin recording your voiceover.

Redo/undoIf you want to undo the previous action or redo the work, you can find the redo/undo button on the top left side of the page.

Remove BackgroundYou can find a Remove Background button on the top of the canvas. Click it and the image cutout window will pop up and show you the result. With the Erase and Restore options, you can adjust the image cutout to meet your needs. Once it is finished, click the Download button to save it on your computer, and then you can apply it to your storyboard (if you close the window without downloading, the image cutout will be lost).

Replace video/imageOnce you added a video/image layer to the storyboard, you can click the Replace button on the top of the canvas to choose another image/video to replace the original one.

Resize textsThere are three methods for you to adjust the text size. First, click the minus or plus sign button to adjust the size of the text. Second, click the number and choose a suitable size. Third, drag the border of the text box to change the text size.

Resize texts in the logoAdd a logo sample to a storyboard, double-click the text box and you can type new words. Click the Size button, then there are three ways to change the text size: Type the value you need; Click the "+" or "-" button; Choose a value in the drop-down list. Besides, click the Ungroup button on the top right corner, then you can change the size of texts individually.

Rotate elementYou can easily drag the Rotate icon and move your mouse to rotate the element until you find a suitable angle to decorate your video.

RotationFind the Transform option on the top of the canvas, click it and you can find the button to rotate your image or video.

Share linksAfter downloading your video project, you can choose to copy and share the link with others or embed it on your website.

Shortcut keys to move elementsSometimes, you may need to make some micro-adjustments to the position of the element. Now you can press the direction keys for micro-adjustment.

Sort saved files in Cloud SpaceYou can sort all of the files in several ways, such as sort by time, sort by date, sort by name, etc., and you can choose descending order or ascending order.

Storyboard orderYou are free to rearrange the storyboard order by simply dragging and dropping.

Supported video formatsFlexClip supports uploading various video formats (within 1G per file), including MP4 (H264), MOV, WEBM, M4V. If you receive a format-related error message when you upload a video clip, we recommend that you reformat it using the free online video converting tool: https://www.flexclip.com/tools/convert-video/. Many video files have the same format but different encoding methods, such as MPEG4 encoding in MP4 format, which may need to be transcoded before using it.

Text Background ColorFor the basic text, you can add a background color to make it unique. Click the text box, and then click the Background button on the toolbar. Then you can click the Turn On button and select a color for the background.

Text FormatClick the Format button, and you will find some options to edit your text, such as Align, Spacing, and Line Height.

Text MotionYou can choose some cool In & Out motions for the basic text sample. Click the Motion button, and you will find many options on the left side of the canvas. Click one of the options, and you can preview the effect. Feel free to select a suitable effect and make your text match your video perfectly!

Text StyleClick the Style button, and you will find many premade text styles on the left side. Select a favorite style, and make some micro-adjustments by dragging the slider, and you will easily get a unique text!

The audio format that you can uploadFlexClip supports the following audio formats: AAC, MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG, WAV.

Transition durationAfter adding a transition effect, you can click the Edit Transition button to adjust the duration of your transition effect.

Unsubscription influence - fontAfter the end of your subscription period, your uploaded fonts will be saved online for 3 months. If you do not upgrade your account within 3 months, all font files will be deleted automatically.

Upgrade my planIf you want to upgrade your subscription to get more features, please follow the steps below and easily get what you need: Step 1, click the profile photo and click the "Upgrade" button. Step 2, choose a suitable plan and click the "Select" button.

Upload files from telephoneOn the Media part, click the phone icon on the top right corner, then scan the QR code using your phone’s camera to upload files.

Video TitleGive your great video a proper title! Click the Untitled button on the top left corner and type words in it.

Volume on the storyboardYou can adjust the volume on the storyboard or just mute it.

Where to find the saved video projects?Click your profile photo, click the Home button, and click the My Projects button.

Why do I need to relink files?If you didn't save your local files to the Could Space, you need to relink them on the following occasions: use another computer; use the incognito window; use another browser.

Width and height of shapesYou can adjust the width and height of some shapes and video/image PiPs. You just need to easily drag the border of the elements to do it.

Wrap the TextDouble click the text box and enter into the editing mode, then you can press the “Enter” key on your keyboard to wrap the text.

Zoom in/outFind the Zoom button at the top left corner of the canvas, and you can adjust the size of the video/image to fit the storyboard. You can choose Fit or Fill, and can also move the slider to zoom it to the suitable size by yourself.
