How to Remove or Dispute a YouTube Copyright Claim?

All audio content provided on our platform is 100% royalty-free and safe to use in your YouTube videos. However, in some cases, YouTube’s system may mistakenly flag your video for copyright use.

If your video receives a claim, you can resolve it using one of the following methods:

1. Submit your Channel ID via White List
Go to the White List section on your My Account page and submit your YouTube Channel ID. Once submitted, we will assist in removing the claim automatically.

Please note that different music tracks may be associated with different copyright holders. As a result, submitting your channel once does not guarantee that future claims will never occur. If you encounter another claim, simply submit your Channel ID again. There is no limit on the number of submissions or the number of Channel IDs you can provide.

2. Submit a claim dispute form (if the issue persists)
If you are still receiving copyright claims after one business day, please fill out the Claim Dispute Form. After submitting all details, your request will be processed through our partner, Storyblocks.

3. Dispute the claim directly with YouTube
You can also file a dispute directly through YouTube. You may use the following message when submitting your dispute:

"Please release this copyright claim as I have acquired this audio content from FlexClip (a Storyblocks API Partner) legitimately. Attached is the End User License Agreement between Storyblocks and FlexClip that outlines my license to use this material. In case of any questions, you can also reach out to my Storyblocks Account Manager, Christina, at christina.baddar#storyblocks.com." (replace # with @)
